Pixar movie and Hero's Journey

Think about your favorite Pixar movie.  How does the main character go through the Hero’s Journey? What are the connections?                My favorite Pixar movie is "Coco". The main character, Miguel, goes through the Hero's Journey because he has a desire for something, so he has to cross a threshold to a new world to get it. Miguel's desire is to listen to music and make his own music but it's banned in his family because of an incident that happened years ago. Miguel crosses a threshold to a place called Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). In Dia de los Muertos, Miguel sees all of his family members that have passed away. Technology in the Classroom

How could you as a student benefit from having a school-provided iPad? How would this change your classes? How would this change the way you learn?                     I, as a student, can benefit from having a school-provided iPad because I can look up the information that I need. I can also go on Blackbaud and see what homework I need to do. This would change my classes because I can look up the information that I need for that class. I can also email my teachers if I had any questions about work. This would change the way I learn because I can take notes on the iPad. I can also do my homework on the iPad, and send it to my teacher.

The Hero's Journey

What is the definition of a hero? Who is a hero to you? Has your definition of a hero changed since you read the article?                   A hero is someone who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, and noble qualities. Someone who is a hero to me is my mother. She is very courageous and brave and I love that about her. When she thinks about doing something, she always accomplishes it. My definition of a hero has not changed since I read the article. You do not have to be born a hero, but you can grow up to be a hero.
